Ukrainians create an army of demining robots

Ukraine ranks among the world's top mine-hazardous countries. According to the UN, more than 30% of Ukraine's territory is currently mined, which is almost 174,000 square kilometers. The consequences of this are tragic: thousands of victims, including civilians, children, farmers, and sappers. Demining is not only about equipment, it is primarily about human lives.
The LIFE ROBOTS UA project arose as a response to this challenge. Its goal is to reduce the number of dead and injured sappers by providing them with reliable Ukrainian robots for humanitarian demining. The initiative unites volunteers, military personnel, engineers, journalists, public figures, and just caring citizens.
Unlike abstract promises, LIFE ROBOTS UA is a clear, practical plan. The project provides for raising funds for the purchase of robotic platforms that are already produced by Ukrainian companies. These robots are capable of performing the most dangerous stages of demining: detection, neutralization, transportation of explosive objects. They can work at night, in fog, in the field or in the forest - where a person risks his life.

Ukrainian sappers work with explosive objects every day, risking his life. According to the State Emergency Service, at least 20 sappers have died since the beginning of the full-scale war. The use of robots allows reducing risks by 60-80%. These technologies have long been used in the USA, Israel, Great Britain - it is time to introduce them systematically in Ukraine.

Currently, the project is preparing to launch a fundraising campaign to purchase the first batches of equipment. This is not science fiction - the first samples already exist, have been tested and are ready to work. But without funding, implementation is impossible.

LIFE ROBOTS UA is the first large-scale volunteer project to purchase robots for humanitarian demining. And now it needs your attention. To survive - you need not only drones, tanks or missiles. You need smart machines that save lives.

We have a chance not to wait for the state or international institutions to provide us with robots. We can act now. Every donation, every repost, every publication is a real contribution to a safe country.
The time has come not only to die heroically, but to save systematically. And for this we need robots.
